Experience

Scott has over 30 years of experience spanning Defence, national security, and industry, with deep expertise in force design, operations, capability development, logistics, and strategic planning. His career includes senior leadership roles across the Australian Army, international deployments with the United Nations, and executive positions within major Defence industry organisations, delivering evidence based advice to inform complex operational and strategic decisions.

With postgraduate qualifications in military art and science and a first class honours degree in mechanical engineering, Scott brings a strong systems, operational, and analytical perspective to Defence and government problem sets. He has led large, multidisciplinary teams, conducted first principles analyses to inform force modernisation, and supported senior decision makers through rigorous planning, organisational redesign, and capability trade off analysis across joint and enterprise environments.

As a senior Defence and industry leader, Scott has extensive experience integrating operational insight with commercial, program, and stakeholder considerations to deliver practical, defensible outcomes in high risk and high assurance contexts.

Outside of work, Scott is an active member of the local community who values community engagement, enjoys keeping fit, and prioritises family time.
