Catherine is a Special Advisor with more than 25 years of post-admission experience across multiple government departments and private practice.
She has demonstrated her ability to provide high-level legal advice to executive teams and ministers, to progress the strategic directions/priorities of the government and enable responsible decision making, in accordance with the principles of administrative law.
Catherine’s extensive experience spans Defence, education, and health, where she has managed the delivery of astute legal advice, implemented reform and created systems to deliver streamlined capability using existing and newly developed technology she procured. Catherine is an experienced in-house lawyer, working with clients, Crown Law and lawyers representing litigants. She has a track record of building high-performing and resilient teams and also enjoy working as part of a team. Catherine is solutions-focused and committed to delivering sustainable and ethical outcomes within agreed scope, timeframes, and budget.
