Nicholas Hui

Experience

Nicholas is a self-starter; driven, enterprising and resourceful. An experienced IT professional with a foundation built at multinational corporations in Banking and Finance, his switch to IT began with Wells Fargo Bank Hong Kong. At Wells he played an instrumental role in key Technology projects, his key contributions recognised by being awarded the Wells Fargo Gold Coin Award.

Prior to moving to Canberra he worked in Sydney as an engineer for a local Managed Services Provider and then as an IT sole trader professional. Nicholas also runs a technology and cybersecurity blog to inform readers on emerging scams, how to counter online threats, and how to cat-proof computers.

Nicholas recently graduated with a Master of Information Technology (Cybersecurity) at the University of Technology Sydney. He also has a Master of Applied Linguistics (UNSW) and Bachelor of Communications (UTS).

Nicholas is cat-dad to a menacing kitten known as Shadow. He also enjoys cruising around on two wheels and giving lightshows.
