Portia joined Systems Planning and Analysis Australia in 2021 as the Director of Space where she leads a growing team of space professionals delivering technical expertise and objective analyses to Australia’s space decision makers. Drawing on almost 20 years of experience supporting military space operations, she utilises a background in Astrophysics and Systems Engineering to support the Australian space sector. She is experienced with capability acquisition, software development, product fielding, testing and evaluation, operations, threat analysis, and future satellite systems.
