Steve has Senior Executive experience across complex government and digital transformation programs, high‑value ICT and digital procurements, and program assurance. He brings clarity to intricate commercial and financial issues, shapes robust procurement strategies, and helps agencies secure value for money outcomes through rigorous evaluation, risk analysis and negotiation support. He has led and supported the delivery of complex programs for the Australian government and understands the challenges and opportunities that these transformational projects can deliver.

Steve is known for pragmatic advice that connects executive priorities to successful business outcomes. His collaborative approach helps clients plan and execute complex programs to deliver outcomes for stakeholders and government. He brings clarity and senior executive experience to navigate complex challenges, presenting them in concise and approachable manner with all parties from senior management to operations.

Steve also combines Senior Executive finance leadership with hands‑on program and gateway assurance. He served as CFO in multiple agencies and as a member of senior governance committees, leading second pass business case on ICT modernisation, conducted reviews of enterprise planning and resource allocation, and delivered internal program health checks. He has delivered gateway reviews on programs for Government, established PMO and investment frameworks, and supported financial and commercial decision making at CEO, Board and ministerial interfaces.

Steve has a Bachelor of Commerce and Executive MBA in Complex Program Leadership & Strategic Sourcing.

Outside of work, Steve can be found out and about in the great outdoors (hiking, kayaking and fishing) with family and checking out local wineries.
