Vanessa is a senior consulting leader with over 20 years’ experience advising government on complex reform and transformation. She is a trusted advisor to senior executives, recognised for translating strategic intent into clear governance, practical operating models, workforce enablement and disciplined delivery assurance. Her work consistently enables the successful realisation of policy and program outcomes in complex, high‑stakes environments.

She has deep sector experience across Defence, National Security, health and human services, where she has led advisory engagements on large‑scale transformation programs and delivered tangible, outcome‑focused results.

As National Consulting Practice Lead at SPA Australia, Vanessa leads a government‑first consulting approach, bringing together specialist technical expertise and proven delivery experience across Governance and Risk, Leadership and Capability Development, Transformation and Implementation, Regulation and Legislation, Evaluation and Review, and Organisational Performance and Business Improvement. She is focused on challenging conventional approaches and working with clients to unlock what is possible in the delivery of public outcomes.

Vanessa’s technical expertise includes workforce intelligence and optimisation, operating model and organisational design, and business transformation. She is recognised for applying data‑driven insight to inform decision‑making and support sustainable capability uplift.
