We are excited to confirm the appointment of Warren King, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Australia’s Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) and former Chairman of Navantia, Australia and Member of Northrop Grumann’s International Advisory Board.
Warren joins us after a remarkable and diverse career, spread across the military, industry, and defence sectors, including 20 years with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). After serving in the Navy, Warren held a variety of senior positions ranging from small Australian enterprises to large multinational corporations.
In his role as CEO of DMO, Warren oversaw the department charged with procuring and maintaining equipment for the Australian Defence Force. Here, Warren led some of Australia’s biggest defence contracts and projects and has much experience in executing big plans and managing large-scale risk.
Warren’s switch to consulting is about giving back. He joins Proximity with the intention of helping our clients build the future Australia “looking at Proximity, its culture and it’s ethos, this is the best company for me to offer my services and skill-set for the betterment of our communities.”
